Hi all, The SANTA FE BOLLYWOOD Fundraising Nite in collaboration with the Association of British Women Malaysia was a blast. Everyone had great time. I’ve never seen so many British women in a saree at one time. They were simply beautiful in their colourful gear, courtesy of Taraz Boutique, And the men, what can I say .. they were gorgeous in Qurtas from Sneha’s. It was all Indian-like from Bangrabeats to Surin’s Henna Art, garlands and the Indian beer!.

Moving on, the 16 MMIGLOBAL finalists will swap stilletoes for rubber shoes and cameras for crockery at the Berjaya University of Hospitality’s STARTER CHEF contest on Friday, 2 Oct, 2009.

What’s the deal? STARTER CHEF is the newest component of the MMIGLOBAL pageant. Begining this year, all finalists will not only compete in the 5km Run and the USM-Environment Challenge and VIdeo producing Challenge, but will now take to the kitchen too!

Here’s the best part. The contestant who produces the most creative and tastiest flavours (as judged by a panel of chefs) will earn herself a short course on culinary skills.

More importantly, she will also win a similar scholarship for a less fortunate girl residing in a shelter somewhere in the Klang Valley!

Ladies.. give it your best coz one of you is going to change the DESTINY of a very lucky young woman who is living in shelter and hoping for a little miracle.
