| The principal organisor and conceptualiser of the Miss MalaysiaIndian Global pageant and its social development philosophy is Pushparani Thilaganathan, a spirited journalist.
The joint organisor is the Miss MalaysiaIndia Care Association (MMICA). MMICA is a not-for-profit organisation established in Year 2002 by its founding pillars Mohanapriya Sina Raja, Divya Nambiar and Bawani Nesamani (winners of the Miss MalaysiaIndia 2001 pageant). It is registered with the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development as well as the National Council of Women Organisation. MMICA members comprise finalists/winners of all the past Miss MalaysiaIndian (Global) pageants, who return each year to serve their peers in the community. Some among them form the working committee for the annual Miss MalaysiaIndian Global pageant. |

| MMICA is a non-partisan organisation and is committed to the development of all Malaysian women and youth. Hence its grassroot "direct-benefit" programmes transcends racial, political and cultural barriers. MMICA's primary mission is to "Empower Communities Thru' Culture, Communication, Education and Sports." To this end, it has developed three core programmes:
