| Since Year 2000, the ORGANISERS of the pageant have carried out several on-ground programmes for girls, women and youths in the areas of education, community care, personal and professional empowerment. Many of these programmes were carried out under various taglines – Personal Enhancement Programme (personal & professional development workshops in schools, colleges and universities), Gift Mum With Life (Cancer Screening Programme), Soul2Soul Disaster Relief (established the Tsunami), Sisters-In-Education (books and magazines for Tamil schools and educational student tours), InterCharities Futsal/Football (for children from shelters) and Festive Cheer (annual movie screening & Fund Raiser for kids from shelters). These non-political and non-religious programmes have focussed primary on women. Now, nine years later, these programmes are under a common umbrella known as the Gift Her With Life Project. | In collaboration With the London-based AsiaWorld Foundation, we are organising a CROSS CULTURE YOUTH EXCHANGE programme for Malaysians to London and Paris. This is a backpacking-style programme and focuses on education and experiential living abroad. The Exchange Programme is open to young women under 30years.
